THE IDEA
Wonderful is the bar on the ground floor of Little Something, which means it is also the bar on the ground floor of the Financial District.
We open at three, which is either very late or very early depending on the kind of day you've had. Cocktails and snacks for now. More soon. A little something before the rest of your evening.
THE DRINKS
Our list is named for the neighborhood's hours. After the Bell for the end of the day. Night Shift for the people still going. Day Trade if you need to be somewhere after this. The Wonderful, if you'd rather not decide.
Two spirit-free cocktails, made with the same attention as everything else. Water Street and an Espresso & Tonic that we're quietly proud of.
Wine by the glass and bottle. Beer, cold. A well list that holds up.
THE ROOM
Double-height ceilings, warm oak, and a stone mosaic underfoot. Scalloped millwork behind the bar. Enough space to hear the person across from you.
Good for: one drink before dinner. A meeting that isn't quite a meeting. The last stop of the night. Sitting alone with a book, which we encourage.
